Tribal Moon Cacao Chia Pudding

Cacao Chia Pudding
Cacao Chia Pudding

Immerse yourself in the velvety embrace of chia seeds and ceremonial cacao, blending tradition with modern taste. Unveil the secrets of creating a creamy, wholesome delight that awakens your senses under the tribal moon.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Tribal Moon Cacao powder
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or your favorite non-dairy milk)
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • pinch of mineral salt
  • Optional: add a pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk and cacao under low heat. Mix until combined and set aside.
  2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the cacao mixture, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla and salt, whisk until blended.
  3. Cover and place in the fridge to chill. Give a good stir after 30 minutes (this step is very important or your pudding will not set properly and you’ll have a soupy mixture),
  4. Cover again and continue to chill. Stir again after 15 to 30 minutes. Pudding should be thickened and ready to serve within 4 hours, and will be at it thickest after 8 – 10 hours.
  5. Enjoy with your choice of toppings!

IMPORTANT CACAO PREPARATION NOTES:

Depending on what type of recipe you are creating, we always try and prepare cacao in the easiest possible way with the greatest amount of care. So here are a few helpful hints on how to do that.

  • If you need the cacao in more of a powder-type form for your recipe, just blitz larger chunks of Tribal Moon Cacao in a Nutri-Bullet, Thermomix, or Food Processor for 10 seconds. Then it is all ready to go without needing to chop or grate it. Easy. 😊
  • If you need to turn your cacao into more of a liquid type of consistency, simply pour boiling water into a pot with the cacao and stir over heat until it melts. NEVER LEAVE THE CACAO as it begins to get hot. If it starts to steam, that is as hot as you want to get. Try to NEVER RAISE the temperature of the cacao above 87 Degrees Celsius as it will lose some of its medicinal qualities.
  • Have fun
